TripWire for Groupon App Reviews

I love this app. I happen to live in a densely populated city where there are more local Groupons for me to trip over, so I trigger quite a few. I did travel to Michigan on the road and double checked and sometimes I didn’t see any. So if you don’t see any, I checked with the developer and for now you can go to your Settings, select GrouponTripWire and change the slider bar named Groupon Offer Range (0.2-10 Kilometers) about 5 miles. Set this to the max and see if there are any offers there. The developer also told me that they are coming out with a release that automatically scales it to the nearest offer if there aren’t any within the default range. So don’t get discouraged if you are too far away from a big city. However, if you are in a big city don’t do the above, you map will be overrun with all the icons, especially in Chicago. Love this app, easy peasy.

This app requires zero planning. Just launching the app and forget about it. My experience was walking in the city, it notified me of all of these offers I would have never discovered because I don’t normally use a Groupon. But I will if one just happens to be where I am. No checking, the notification was easy. Also, I could change the sound in the Setting to the laughing Minions, which is my favorite.

I tripped over ten offers today just riding the train into work. Effortless and pain free.

This app is great for those who loving saving money! Depending on your location, GrouponTripWire will allow you to see the various availabilities for you to save a few bucks. You are able to save money and theres nothing better than that. I highly recommend this application to those who are interested in saving money such as I am.

This is a great app to help filter out all the deals on Groupon. I wish I had this last year when I was out of town and spent a ton of money on a tourist attraction. Just after paying, a family behind me had a Groupon for half off! I forgot to look on Groupon. This app will let me know now! THANKS!!!

It crashes on my 5S when I try to open it. I have not seen any Groupons yet but I think the idea is really good and there is some potential. It would be nice to have settings to be able to filter the types of Groupons I want and avoid getting notifications for the ones I dont want.

It is one of the simplest way to save money without taking any effort, you have just to download the app and follow instructions, if you unlucky you will not find any near place to get a notification about places you are looking for Groupon. You can use google to help you with this app.

This app is so simple that you may feel you do not know how to use, just allow notifications and allow to use gps with turning background refresh ON , and you can save money with the easiest way ever, it will tell you where is the nearest places for Groupon while you are traveling or visiting a new place. It may give you nothing in some places , but I am sure it will satisfy you in the right time.

Such a wonderfull application which is saving my money every day when i visit store which alwayz gives me some offers. I hope some stores will added to trip too. Looking forward to see new database update.

Easy to find things to do around me and just another way to connect and use groupon

This app is really useful in giving notifications of Groupon deals from nearby stores. Whenever Im nearby a shop that offer Groupon deals, it notifies me pretty quickly. I like this feature and I have used quite a few deals from this feature.

For Groupon users this app is a must have. It shows deals and coupons of nearby stores. Groupon should include such feature in their official app but till that you can use this app. It works as described. Recommeded

I am a frequent groupon user and this app makes its experience much better. I provides deals and coupons of nearby stores. I works pretty smoothly and provides real time notifications which is very nice. User Interface needs a little work but overall its a very nice app
